Primary Role:
Day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned Personal Lines accounts, including but not limited to:
- Assist new and existing Personal Insurance clients obtain insurance coverage
- Maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction
- Achieving agency account retention goals through proactive account rounding, up-selling of limits and coverages, and by providing extraordinary client service
Qualifications & Education
- Obtain Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance Licenses within 60 days of hire date (at agency’s expense)
- Two-year associate college degree required; four-year college degree preferred
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
- Demonstrated desire for continuous professional improvement
- Demonstrated ability to have fun, contribute to positive company culture, and celebrate success
Duties
- Support sales efforts by preparing quotes in conjunction with agency marketing procedures
- Perform annual review of renewal policies for proper coverage, incorporating information obtained from client
- Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation by processing all policies, endorsement changes, invoices, activities, etc., according to agency procedures, and within agency timelines
- Respond to client inquiries, company requests, and all incoming communications in accordance with agency guidelines
- Participate in courses for insurance/sales skills
- Maintain current knowledge of carrier underwriting requirements
- Remain current with industry trends by reading appropriate journals and company bulletins
- Participate in any special projects at management’s request
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
