Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Thursday/Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
OpSource Staffing has partnered with a leading food production company in Spartanburg, SC, and we're looking for a dependable Mechanical Helper to join the team. If you have basic mechanical skills and enjoy working hands-on with industrial equipment, we'd love to hear from you!
Assist the lead mechanic with repairing and maintaining production machinery.
Help install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machine parts.
Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist with electrical and electronic equipment repairs.
Help start up and shut down production lines.
Monitor equipment to ensure machines are operating efficiently.
Clean and sanitize tools and processing equipment to meet USDA and FDA food safety standards.
Basic mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in cold, wet environments as well as hot, noisy production areas.
Willingness to wear required PPE, including hard hats, hearing protection, and slip-resistant boots.
Commitment to following all FDA and food safety regulations.
Competitive pay at $20.00/hour
