- 1 year of experience within the last three (3) years (Required)
- Active RADTECH License (Required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) (Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Duties
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other medical imaging techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures while explaining the process to alleviate any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures performed, and results obtained.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring it is functioning properly, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in various imaging modalities including X-Ray, Sonography, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiology.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately perform imaging procedures.
- Experience working in urgent care or emergency settings preferred, particularly within a Level II Trauma Center.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to medical imaging and patient care.
Pay: From $47.00 per hour
