Program Simulation Lead (Seasonal | Part-Time)
Location: Various locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region (travel required)
Schedule: Seasonal, Part-Time (Approx. 32 hours/week)
Compensation: $24-$27/hour
About the Opportunity
Our client, a mission-driven educational nonprofit, is seeking an energetic and engaging Program Simulation Lead to help deliver interactive financial literacy experiences to middle and high school students throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys public speaking, working with students, leading groups, and creating memorable educational experiences. You'll serve as the lead facilitator during hands-on learning simulations while working alongside a dedicated support teammate.
This seasonal position follows the academic calendar, with opportunities during both the Fall and Spring program seasons.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging financial literacy simulations for groups of up to 100 students
- Facilitate volunteer orientations and provide direction to teams of 15-30 volunteers
- Serve as the primary presenter using microphones and classroom technology
- Create a fun, high-energy learning environment
- Coordinate simulation logistics and ensure events run smoothly
- Support event setup and breakdown
- Provide outstanding customer service to educators, volunteers, and students
- Travel to schools and event locations throughout the Philadelphia region

- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
- Confident leading classroom or event environments
- Patient, organized, and calm under pressure
- Highly energetic and personable
- Comfortable using technology including tablets and presentation equipment
- Passionate about working with students
- Flexible and dependable
- Comfortable traveling to various school locations
Preferred Background
Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
- Teaching or substitute teaching
- Youth development
- Camp counseling
- Education
- Museums or experiential learning
- Nonprofit organizations
- Event facilitation
- Public speaking
- Customer-facing roles
