At Viva Memory Care at Dresher, located in Suburban Philadelphia —you’ll be a helping hand in the overall care of our residents in the place they call home.
What You’ll Do:
- Administer – Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and documentation of medication for residents in accordance with physician’s orders and applicable regulations.
- Supervise – Act as the supervisor for care staff on the shift, holding them accountable for resident care and care tasks to be performed. Provide resident care as a primary caregiver or assist caregivers if additional assistance is needed.
- Build – Be a leader among your peers to in a way that defines our community and team culture.
- Document – Report and document changes in residents’ condition to the Resident Care Director, document incidents including falls, and hospital transfers. Communicate relevant information to the next shift through the shift-to-shift verbal report and change of shift stand-up.
- Collaboration – work with the Resident Care Director, fellow Med Techs, and caregivers to bring life to the community. Be willing to work overtime and pick up shifts as needed for continuity of care, resident safety, and regulatory coverage.

What you bring:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
- Medication Technician Certification/Observation Notes/Testing Scores.
- Previous experience in a memory care or senior living setting preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
