Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Provide specialized support for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, PTSD, and other behavioral health conditions.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Collect and document medical records, patient data, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with case management teams, educators, medical professionals, and families to coordinate care and ensure holistic support.
- Facilitate culturally sensitive counseling that respects diversity and promotes inclusivity across all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in home & community care settings.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, mental health assessments, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and electronic medical records systems.
- Skilled in conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, case management, and evidence-based psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral management.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients from diverse backgrounds effectively.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
