Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our NEW Seven Pines Primary Care office located near Butler Boulevard and I295 east of the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider. Bilingual-Spanish is a huge plus but not required.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

Provides medical assistance to physicians

Obtains vital signs
-
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

Maintains medical documentation

Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
-
2+ years Patient Care Experience
-
Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required

Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
