Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound telemarketing and sales calls to clients with overdue accounts, promoting debt relief options and payment solutions.
- Utilize phone etiquette and customer support skills to build rapport, address client concerns, and negotiate repayment plans effectively.
- Analyze credit reports, account histories, and financial data using Excel and CRM systems to assess client eligibility for debt settlement or consolidation programs.
- Maintain compliance with loan regulations, banking regulatory standards, and industry-specific financial regulations during all client interactions.
- Perform account reconciliation, data entry, and detailed analysis of accounts receivable using accounting software and financial tools.
- Support the revenue cycle management process by reviewing billing discrepancies, ICD-10 coding (for medical collections), CPT coding, and ensuring accurate account analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams on medical billing, financial software management, and industry-specific compliance requirements to optimize collection strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telemarketing, customer service, or collections within the financial or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, debt settlement analysis, accounts receivable management, and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis), CRM systems, accounting software, and financial software tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective phone etiquette and customer support capabilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as banking compliance, medical billing standards (ICD-10), CPT coding, and revenue cycle management practices.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, perform account reconciliation, and conduct detailed account analysis efficiently.
- Strong math skills along with a solid understanding of debits & credits, accounting principles, and financial services operations.
