Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend items to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and sake is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with guest relations practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
