Machine Operator
$17–$20 per hour - depending on experience
1st shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30am to 4:00PM
or
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM - must be available to train on 1st shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Sidney, NY. This position involves operating and monitoring machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications and feed materials as required
- Monitor production processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect parts hourly for defects and record results
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication
- Identify and correct minor equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of production activity
- Rotate between workstations and assist with cross-training as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and maintaining focus throughout shift
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, or lift for extended periods depending on work area
- Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts consistently
