Linkhome Holdings Inc. is seeking an experienced Wholesale Lending Manager to lead and grow our wholesale mortgage lending channel.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and third-party originators, managing the wholesale loan pipeline, supporting loan production, and coordinating with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Secondary Market, and Compliance teams.
The ideal candidate has strong wholesale mortgage experience, an established understanding of broker relationships, and the ability to balance business development, pipeline management, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the company’s wholesale mortgage lending channel.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with mortgage brokers, third-party originators, and other approved business partners.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and support new broker accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for wholesale brokers and provide timely, professional support.
- Manage the wholesale loan pipeline from submission through underwriting, closing, and funding.
- Monitor loan volume, pull-through rates, turn times, loan quality, and channel performance.
- Review loan scenarios and work with internal teams to identify appropriate products and potential solutions.
- Coordinate closely with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Secondary Market, and Compliance teams.
- Help resolve escalated broker, loan, documentation, pricing, and operational issues.
- Communicate product guidelines, credit policies, submission requirements, pricing updates, and process changes to broker partners.
- Provide training and support related to company products, loan submission procedures, and the loan origination system.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor products, broker feedback, and wholesale lending trends.
- Establish and track production goals, performance metrics, and channel growth objectives.
- Support the development of wholesale lending procedures, workflows, controls, and service standards.
- Ensure wholesale lending activities follow company policies, investor requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate broker, pipeline, production, and performance records.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding production, pipeline status, broker activity, and channel performance.
- Represent the company professionally at broker meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
- Perform other mortgage lending and management duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of mortgage lending experience.
- Three or more years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending, broker relations, or third-party origination.
- Previous experience managing a wholesale lending team, account executives, broker accounts, or a mortgage production channel is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the wholesale mortgage loan process from broker submission through funding.
- Knowledge of underwriting, processing, closing, secondary market, investor, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with conventional, government, Non-QM, or other applicable mortgage products is preferred.
- Experience using loan origination systems, broker portals, CRM platforms, and mortgage reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive mortgage broker relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and escalated loan issues.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent mortgage industry experience will also be considered.
- Existing relationships within the California mortgage broker community are preferred.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.
- Applicable mortgage licenses or registrations must be maintained if required by the assigned duties.
- Must be able to work in person at the Irvine, California office.
Compensation
- Base salary of $80,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Performance-based bonus or incentive compensation may be available based on individual and company results.
