We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trading Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying trading solutions, developing strategies, and optimizing portfolio construction in electricity markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantitative analysis, computer science and programming, and deep research skills.
As a Quantitative Trading Analyst, you will:
- Work to solve complex quantitative and technical problems in collaboration with a team of skilled traders and quantitative researchers.
- Work in an iterative and highly dynamic environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Combine software development expertise with mathematical and optimization techniques to develop statistical and simulation-based models for trading, investment decisions, and forecasting.
- Create and maintain systems that integrate structured and semi-structured data into robust models used for scenario analysis and probabilistic outcomes.

- Undergrad or master's in a technical discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent professional experience with progressive responsibilities.
- Strong foundation in probability and statistics, with working knowledge of machine learning techniques preferred.
- Expertise in Python and related libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Dask, Ray, Streamlit).
- Proven ability to design and implement mathematical models and handle large, complex datasets.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of origination, trading exposure, and financial implications and familiarity with power markets preferred but not required.
