Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Twos teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate classroom management techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
- Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, infant care, special education, and caregiving practices.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
