The Defense Systems Division is part of the Parker Aerospace Group, located in Irvine, California. Our products are used across military and commercial platforms globally. We specialize in cutting edge thermal management systems and components including fans, pumps and compressors, ammunition handling systems, weapon scoring systems, dynamic pressure sensors, piezoelectric accelerometers, towed targets, reeling machines, and associated telemetry.

Position Summary:
Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well established precedents.
Responsibilities:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good understanding of ESD controls, resistance welding, working under microscopes, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly and packaging techniques, as well as handling of classified assemblies.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Working under the microscope for long periods of time.
- Handling of small parts and piezoelectric crystals.

Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques.

Intermediate mechanical assembly of small parts and good understanding of torque requirements and calibration.

Ability to interpret blueprints, job travelers and adhere to work instructions.
High voltage potting and high voltage testing skills.

Soldering and welding microelectric assemblies.

Cleaning, sandblasting, and other miscellaneous supporting functions.
- Proficient at identifying and troubleshooting faulty components.
Maintains a consistent standard of work and performance to comply with Quality Assurance regulations.
- May be assigned to assist other departments.

Emphasize safety and cleanliness by maintaining organized workstations and verifying that appropriate safety equipment is being used properly.

May perform other related responsibilities.
Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.

Pay Range: $18.9/hr to $31.5/hr
