We are currently hiring Infant Teachers and Two-Year-Old Teachers who are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Job Summary
As a teacher at The Children's Garden, you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. Teachers are expected to provide quality care, implement age-appropriate learning experiences, build positive relationships with families, and ensure compliance with all Texas Child Care Licensing and Texas Rising Star standards.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Provide nurturing, attentive care while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Follow daily classroom schedules, including meals, diapering, potty training (as appropriate), naps, and learning activities.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate professionally with parents and guardians.
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, sanitized, and inviting throughout the day.
- Supervise children at all times while maintaining required teacher-to-child ratios.
- Follow all Texas Child Care Licensing and Texas Rising Star standards.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration to provide high-quality care.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must be dependable, punctual, patient, energetic, and have a genuine love for working with young children.
