American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and active KY or compact licensure in a rotating 36/48 schedule.

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with rotation across L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery
-
Level 1 acute care setting
-
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, on a rotating 36/48 schedule (alternating 3x12 and 4x12 weeks)

Every other weekend required

Floating required within scope of practice

Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Meditech EMR
-
Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience in a Level 1 acute care setting

Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

Driver's license with address matching permanent address required for consideration

2 professional references required: at least 1 Charge Nurse or higher, and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year

Middle name required; confirmation needed if candidate does not have one

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Travelers who have worked within the ARH system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning

Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted

Must be available to work at least one major or one minor holiday

Orientation is held bi-weekly

Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
