Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team at the Holiday Inn Clarksville with energy and excellence. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks across all areas of the property
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels while ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and hotel or facility policies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Implement and oversee commercial cleaning procedures using appropriate tools and environmentally friendly products
- Address guest or staff concerns promptly, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction and uphold the facility’s reputation
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and custodial best practices
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
