Chaupain Bakery is seeking an energetic, dependable, and experienced **Happy Hour Cook** to join our growing kitchen team. This position focuses on preparing and serving high-quality happy hour menu items during our busy afternoon and early evening service.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about creating delicious food while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday
Hours: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Job Type: Part-Time
Shift: Happy Hour / Afternoon Shift
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook happy hour menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
* Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies
* Label, organize, and properly store food products
* Maintain portion control and presentation standards
* Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
* Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous cooking or line cook experience preferred
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
* Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Food Handler Certificate required
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the kitchen throughout the shift
