Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mobile Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide remote therapeutic services to individuals struggling with substance use disorder and co-occuring mental health issues, fostering positive change and resilience. Your expertise will help clients overcome challenges related to substance use disorder, mental health issues, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and treatment goals while adhering to clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), family therapy, and crisis intervention tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
- Implement behavior management strategies and behavioral health techniques to support clients.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and case managers to develop and execute individualized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) management, documenting all sessions, progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols and conflict management skills to ensure client safety at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience working in behavioral health settings.
- Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques for engaging clients and fostering motivation for change.
- Skilled in behavioral therapy, social work principles, psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care such as PTSD care.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally while maintaining client-centered focus; excellent case management skills are essential.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, medical documentation standards, electronic health records (EHR) management, and data collection processes.
- Exceptional communication skills for client engagement and family collaboration; culturally competent approach is required for diverse populations.
