Job Summary
As a Shuttle Driver for our full-service hotel, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for our guests to and from the hotel. You will be the first point of contact for many guests, offering exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant experience during their stay. This role requires a professional, courteous, and punctual individual who can handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests to and from the hotel, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and answering any questions they may have.
- Conduct regular inspections of the shuttle vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and operating safely.
- Adhere to the shuttle schedule, making necessary adjustments to accommodate guest needs and traffic conditions.
- Maintain open communication with the front desk and other hotel staff to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and hotel safety procedures to ensure the safety of passengers at all times. Ensure that your driver’s license is up to date and your driving recording is in good standing.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption, and report any incidents or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with the upkeep of the hotel lobby by ensuring it remains tidy and welcoming for guests. Help with organizing brochures, arranging seating, and replenishing any necessary supplies in the lobby area.
- Monitor the lobby and surrounding areas for any suspicious activity, reporting concerns to hotel security staff promptly. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, especially during busy hours or special events. Monitor pool area occasionally to ensure only guests are utilizing the area.
- Provide assistance to front desk staff during peak times, such as helping with check-ins and answering phones. Offer information to guests about hotel amenities, local attractions, and any special promotions or events.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
