Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living skills in an assisted living setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Assisting patients with exercises and activities designed to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and reporting changes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educating patients and their families on techniques for improving function and independence.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including equipment upkeep and organization.
Requirements
- A current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA license in the State of Minnesota.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
