Shop Foreman
Durango Truck Accessories
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience
Durango Truck Accessories is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shop Foreman to lead daily shop operations. This position performs and oversees truck-accessory installations while ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shop meetings and coordinate the workload.
- Assign jobs and keep technicians productive and on schedule.
- Perform installations and assist technicians with troubleshooting.
- Inspect completed work for proper operation, cleanliness, and quality.
- Train, motivate, and supervise technicians.
- Enforce safety and PPE requirements.
- Maintain an organized shop and report supply needs to management.
- Explain installed products to customers.
- Cover the front sales counter and answer phones when needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Truck-accessory installation, automotive service, fabrication, spray application, or similar experience required.
- Supervisory or shop-leadership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical-diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable attendance.
Tools Required
Candidates should have their own basic professional hand and installation tools.
