Equipment Maitenance Mechanic
Bitterroot Sales and Rental is seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment including cars, trucks, UTVs, and small rental equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance and repair on vehicles and equipment
· Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs efficiently
· Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe, working condition
· Maintain accurate service records and report needed repairs or parts
· Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Requirements:
· Previous mechanic experience working with cars, trucks, UTVs, and rental equipment to include generators
· Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
· DOT Inspections
· Welding/Metal Fabrication
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Basic computer or diagnostic tool familiarity preferred
· Clean driving Record with valid driver’s license
Preferred (but not required):
·Counter or office experience (part ordering, customer interaction, or administrative support)
Schedule:
Must be available to work currently either:
·Tuesday through Saturday, or
·Wednesday through Saturday
Peak season (April-October): 40+ hours/week, extended hours may be required
Off-season (November-March): 40 hours/week
Compensation:
Based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
