Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends in floor care, industrial cleaning techniques, and best practices in hospitality.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, cleaning techniques, and safety regulations.
- Experience with floor care maintenance and industrial cleaning processes is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests, staff, and management.
