Join Us as a Financial Analyst!
We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy of our payroll and financial data, delivering timely operational reporting, and supporting the annual budget and monthly close processes. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable pulling and reconciling data across multiple systems, and excited about using technology to improve how we work.

What You'll Do:
Payroll Review & Reconciliation

Review bi-weekly payroll using an Excel-based model, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Pull and compare data from multiple source systems (payroll, billing, practice management) to identify discrepancies

Investigate and follow up on variances with relevant stakeholders until resolved
Operational & Financial Reporting

Prepare a weekly KPI report on hours worked and census, broken out by location and by payer

Prepare bi-weekly cash projection reports
-
Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial P&L package

Monthly AR reporting and review
-
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from Finance leadership and other departments
Budgeting

Support the annual budget process, including data gathering, model updates, and variance analysis
Data Integrity & Audits

Conduct regular data reviews and audits across payroll and practice management systems to detect and flag errors

Partner with Payroll, HR, and Operations teams to correct identified discrepancies
-
Recommend process improvements to reduce recurring errors
Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline manual reporting processes
-
Stay curious about new tools and technologies (e.g., automation, BI tools, AI-assisted analysis) that could improve accuracy and efficiency
What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

Independently owns the bi-weekly payroll review process with minimal errors escalating downstream

Delivers weekly KPI and bi-weekly cash reports on time and with high accuracy

Builds strong working relationships with Payroll, HR, and Operations to resolve discrepancies quickly
-
Contributes at least one process improvement idea (e.g., a template, automation, or checklist) that reduces manual effort
What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

1–2 years of relevant experience (internships considered)

Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, other formulas and comfort with data reconciliation)

Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets

Ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines (bi-weekly, weekly, monthly)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with payroll systems and/or practice management systems (preferred)

Exposure to healthcare, staffing, or multi-location business environments (preferred)
-
Familiarity with financial reporting or budgeting tools (preferred)

Interest in or experience with automation, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), or AI-assisted workflows (preferred)
Work Location & Hours:
This role is based at our Kearny, NJ corporate office 2-days per week, with core working hours 8:30a-5:00p Monday-Friday.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000 per year.
Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity. All offers are made in alignment with applicable federal and state laws.
