CDH Law, PLLC is a five-attorney criminal defense and family law firm in Syracuse, New York, seeking a full-time Legal Assistant. We handle a high volume of matters across criminal defense, matrimonial & family law, DWI & traffic law, real estate, and estates. We need someone who can keep up.
**About the Firm**
CDH Law was founded in 2015 by former prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and veterans. Our team includes five paralegals, in-house investigators, and regular law student interns and summer associates. We have built a reputation in the Syracuse legal community through disciplined client service and results.
**What We're Looking For**
You are organized, professional, and client-focused. You manage competing priorities without dropping the ball. You write clearly, research effectively, and communicate well with clients, attorneys, and court staff. You work independently when needed and collaborate when the job calls for it.
**Qualifications**
- Prior legal assistant or paralegal experience is not required for this position. We’re looking for strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy, and most importantly the ability to learn quickly and think on your feet.

**Compensation and Benefits**
Hourly rate: $16–$20, commensurate with experience
