Our Lunch shifts run from (10am to about 4pm) and Dinner shifts (3:45pm to Close), this varies a bit depending on the position. We are seeking full time, year-round professionals.
Oliver's & Planck's Tavern has been in business since 1983, our goal is to serve great food and drinks and provide upbeat entertainment in a relaxing and fun atmosphere to Cape Codders and visitors. Our dining room offers cozy booths and traditional Cape Cod favorites. Planck’s Tavern has 30 bar seats inside, high-tops, and booths to choose from, plus 12 bar seats outside on our outdoor bar and deck, ideal for sipping one of our frozen cocktails on a sunny summer day. Our full menu is available all day and we fire up our wood-fired brick oven at 5pm for pizzas, flatbreads, and seafood.

Server Job Description:
We are looking for a competent Restaurant host/hostess to greet and seat our customers. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Host/hostess responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, answering the telephone and taking to go orders. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus
- Answering telephone
- Take and enter to go orders into pos system
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Ensure all guest are enjoying their experience
Skills
- Proven restaurant experience
