Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling instructions to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Operate floor vacuums, mops, and other custodial equipment to maintain pristine floors and surfaces.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.
- Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning tasks, including waste disposal and sanitation routines.
- Assist with minor maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repair needs to facilities management.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
- Knowledge of proper chemical agent handling, storage, and disposal methods.
- Skilled in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving objects safely.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during cleaning tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.
