Summary:
The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring seamless execution of administrative and sales support functions. This position serves as a key liaison between clients and Sales Managers, helping to drive revenue growth through proactive lead management, accurate sales order processing, client follow-up, and effective coordination of sales activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to Sales Managers, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and organizing sales resources.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Proactively follow up on sales leads, prospects, and existing client opportunities to support revenue generation and business development objectives.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant with company standards.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, sales databases, and client records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
- Coordinate the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, contracts, reports, and other materials to support client meetings and business development efforts.
- Monitor lead pipelines and assist with tracking sales activities, forecasting, and reporting metrics as requested.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure timely execution of client requests and sales initiatives.
- Support the sales team in achieving departmental goals through effective communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Adhere to the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-centric approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and business partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and other business applications preferred.
- Previous experience in sales support, sales coordination, customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
