Kansas City, MO | $130,000 – $170,000 + Bonus
Company Truck + Gas Card
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday
We’re partnering with a leading commercial electrical contractor in Kansas City that delivers high-impact projects across the metro—skyline-defining commercial builds, major campuses, and community infrastructure.
They’re hiring an Electrical Project Manager to take full ownership of $5M+ commercial electrical construction projects from precon through closeout. This is built for a PM who likes accountability, fast-moving job sites, tight coordination, and running work the right way—schedule, budget, safety, and quality all in your hands.
This role is open due to growth.
- Lead commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Own project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and schedule performance
- Drive procurement + material delivery to support just-in-time execution
- Coordinate across field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Manage change orders end-to-end (pricing, negotiation, documentation, execution)
- Track job progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with codes/specs
- Run project meetings, maintain clear documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience (commercial construction)
- Proven track record managing $5M+ projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and local codes
- Experience with risk management, change orders, and material procurement
- Confident leadership style with strong communication (field + client-facing)
- Proficiency with tools like:
- Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam (or similar)
- Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Teams-level daily use)
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
- $130,000 – $170,000 + Bonus
- Company truck + gas card (PMs get both)
- 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and immediate family
- 401(k) + retirement planning support
- Profit Sharing
- Paid Time Off + Holidays
- Long-term stability + growth with a respected contractor that’s expanding in KC
- A PM who wants ownership (not a “paper PM” role)
- Someone who can run the full lifecycle: budget, schedule, buyout, change orders, closeout
- A builder who likes being plugged into the field and keeping jobs moving
- A PM who wants to be with a contractor that’s growing (not backfilling a failing team)
