At Holistic Psychotherapy NYC, we believe healing happens through meaningful connection, compassion, collaboration, and cultural consciousness. We take a holistic, relational approach to therapy that honors the whole person and recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, culture, and lived experience.
We are seeking a fee-for-service Associate Therapist who is passionate about providing thoughtful, affirming, and culturally responsive care. We are particularly interested in clinicians who work from a humanistic, attachment-based, relational, psychodynamic, somatic, and/or trauma-informed lens and who value the therapeutic relationship as a central vehicle for healing.
What You'll Do
- Provide psychotherapy to adults and/or couples
- Conduct consultation calls with prospective clients
- Maintain timely clinical documentation
- Participate in supervision and case consultation
- Collaborate with a warm, connected, and supportive clinical team
- Contribute to a practice culture grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and continuous growth
What We're Looking For
- LMSW, MHC-LP, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent NY license/permit
- Strong alignment with relational, attachment-based, humanistic, psychodynamic, somatic, or trauma-informed approaches
- Commitment to anti-oppressive, intersectional, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally conscious care
- Warm, collaborative, and self-reflective clinical presence
- Interest in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, identity exploration, life transitions, burnout, and personal growth
- Training or interest in receiving training in EMDR, IFS, EFT for couples, and SE.
