Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist guests with reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests using hospitality reservation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room assignments while ensuring data security.
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, update reports, and prepare for the next day’s operations.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to coordinate guest services smoothly.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or making reservations over the phone.
- Provide guest relations support by addressing concerns proactively and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a strong plus for communicating with diverse guests.
- Demonstrated customer service problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and night audit processes is advantageous.
- Experience working in resort environments or hotels with extensive guest relations responsibilities enhances your candidacy.
- Strong phone communication skills coupled with excellent hospitality etiquette are essential for success in this role.
