Position: Director of Rehabilitation
Location: Columbia County, FL
Shift: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $105,000 – $110,000 (based on licensure and experience)
We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead and enhance our rehabilitation department. This is a leadership opportunity to guide a skilled team of therapists and directly influence the quality of life for our residents.
Direct, organize, and evaluate all rehabilitation services in alignment with facility goals
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; recommend and implement policy updates as needed
Collaborate with residents and families to develop and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans
Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for rehab therapists and support staff
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare partners, and community organizations
Identify departmental challenges and develop effective solutions in collaboration with facility leadership
Ensure compliance during regulatory surveys and inspections
Oversee accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation or related field (minimum requirement)
Active, unencumbered license as an OT, PT, or SLP
Minimum 3 years of rehabilitation experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting (hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred)
Strong knowledge of RUGs and CMI systems
