WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3–5+ years of experience to support our attorneys from case initiation through trial. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, loves getting in the weeds and finding critical details, is organized and focused, and wants to be part of a team that prepares every file as if it’s going to a jury.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Drafting and filing initial pleadings, including complaints, discovery, motions, and cover sheets via PeachCourt, Odyssey, or PACER/ECF
- Submitting Open Records Requests and managing litigation correspondence
- Maintaining communication with clients throughout the litigation process
- Drafting and following up on waivers of service; coordinating with sheriffs or process servers when needed
- Calendaring & Reminding: Docketing court deadlines and ensuring timely compliance with rules and scheduling orders
- Coordinating with experts, and medical offices regarding expert testimony. This could be medical depositions, or drafting medical narratives and assisting with organizing records and preparing demands;
- Providing support for motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
- Organizing discovery responses, exhibits, and witness files
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience (required) - Plaintiff's personal injury experience is a plus.
- Paralegal certificate or Associate’s degree in legal studies, business, or related field (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong skills in Word required
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines without micromanagement
- Familiarity with PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER/ECF platforms is strongly preferred
