The Pizza Den is a food truck located on the patio of Ants Beer Cave, the newest addition to the St. Elmo Yard in South Austin. We'll be serving up a small menu of classic and unique pizzas, for customers to enjoy while they sip on a beer and play pickleball.
As a first-time business owner, I'm extremely excited to be starting this journey and am committed to creating an employee-first environment. Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes to prepare pizzas and prep ingredients accurately.
- Ensure that all food meets our standards of quality and is delivered to the guest in a timely manner.
- Interact with guests, ensuring they have a great experience every time.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all food service regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
- Exceptional customer service skills, willing to go above and beyond to make the customer happy.
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
Food Handlers Certificate required.
Starting wage is $15.50 / hr + tips
