Cardiovascular Sonographer –Raleigh, NC
Contract | 40 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
Weekly Pay: $2,300–$2,400
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field from an accredited program OR completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
- Minimum 1 year of echocardiogram experience
- Vascular sonography experience is a plus
- Current BLS certification
- One of the following certifications required:
- RDCS through ARDMS
- RCS, ACS, or RCCS through CCI
- Experience generating ultrasound images of cardiac and/or vascular structures
- Competent in pre- and post-procedure patient care and assessment
- CPR/emergency cardiac care competency required
- Experience with equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
- Strong documentation and data-entry skills
- Ability to prepare procedure rooms and equipment efficiently
- Ability to support staff training and education when needed
