Job Title: Lab Technician (Analytical Equipment)
Pay Rate: $27 to $29/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
We are looking for a Lab Technician (Analytical Equipment).
- Perform Testing following SOP, QC, ASTM, or similar related test method/procedures
- Operate Analytical Equipment or Devices (ICP, IC, XRF, SEM, GC-FID, HPLC, etc.)
- Review data for quality trends and proper reports
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Digital Platforms (LIMS)
- Maintain proper housekeeping (5S) and safety
- Check e-mails for questions
- Follow quality procedures for log and other record-keeping
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 1 year of demonstrated laboratory experience
- Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data
- The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day
- Experience working in an Analytical laboratory desired.
- Able to work in teams and in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills with ICP, IC, XRF, SEM, GC-FID & HPLC desired.
Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
