American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring ACLS, NIHSS, and a VA or compact RN license.

Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 3 newly renovated labs
-
High-volume, high-acuity unit handling 12–18 cases per day (4–7 cases per lab) including STEMI call
-
Procedures include TAVRs, Watchman, CardiomEMS, carotid interventions, Impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARs/EVARs, and STEMI
-
Patient ratio of 1:6
-
Equipment includes Philips imaging systems (recently upgraded), Medrad and manifold for injections
-
Charting systems: XPER and Epic
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30), alternating Monday–Friday
-
Rotating on-call required for weekends, holidays, after-hours, and when the department is closed

Every other weekend requirement

Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including medical assignments and ED (medical holds)

Local candidates are accepted

Active VA or compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 1 year of cardiac or critical care nursing experience required

Experience in cardiac cath lab and/or interventional radiology (IR) preferred

Responsibilities include circulating and monitoring during cath lab procedures

Team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a collaborative and hardworking staff

Scrubs are provided by the facility
-
RTO requests are accommodated at manager's discretion
