Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Supervisor for our Hotel Housekeeping team. In this role, you will lead and motivate our housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain a positive environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Inspect rooms and facilities regularly to uphold cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels
- Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance their experience
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services, with a strong background in hospitality management
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough inspections
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
- Experience with housekeeping management software or systems is a plus
