Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our operational teams and drive business excellence. Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across departments
- Lead, motivate, and supervise teams to achieve high performance standards while fostering a positive work environment
- Oversee profit & loss management, ensuring financial targets are met through effective cost control and revenue growth strategies
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of key initiatives
- Continuously analyze operational processes to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish goals, monitor performance metrics, and report on operational progress
- Safety: Enforce procedures, policies, and safety protocols for all fleet vehicles and drivers. Including but not limited to DOT regulations and laws, federal and state laws, Shamrock’s internal safety protocols and procedures, and Shamrock’s driver and vehicle policies.
- Ensure compliance with D.O.T., OSHA, EPA, and all federal and state regulations, as well as company rules and policies. Monitor, train and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
Experience
- Proven management experience with a track record of supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in strategic planning, business development, and project management
- Demonstrated expertise in profit & loss management and process optimization
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and drive organizational change
- Hands-on experience in sales strategies and customer relationship management is highly desirable
- Prior experience in supervising multiple departments or functions within an organization is preferred
