Job Title: Welder / Fabricator

Pay: $20 – $28 per hour (based on experience)

BA Steel is a growing steel fabrication company based in Baltimore, MD. We take pride in delivering high-quality work, precision craftsmanship, and reliable service to our clients. We’re looking to add a skilled Welder/Fabricator to our team who values safety, quality, and teamwork
You will be required to pass a written math/skills aptitude test and Weld.
Responsibilities
- Communication & Reporting
- Equipment & Tool Management
- Daily Crew Leadership & Coordination
- Perform GMAW, FCAW, SMAW welding on steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble steel structures and components
- Operate fabrication equipment (grinders, saws, torches, etc.)
- Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- 1 years of welding/fabrication experience (Preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal properties
- Experience with layout, fitting, and assembly
- Certification(s) a plus but not required
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
- Reliable transportation
