Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. Schedule is Monday -Friday plus rotating on call
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical components to ensure continuous operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment to restore functionality swiftly.
- Lead or assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, improve processes, and uphold safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is essential for effective troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and system diagnostics.
- Familiarity with construction practices and safety protocols related to building maintenance projects.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing issues accurately.
