The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting catering products from the facility to the aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and service standards.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up equipment, food, and airline supplies.
- Ensure all loads are complete, properly documented, and securely loaded prior to transport.
- Follow all safety procedures, traffic regulations, and company policies.
- Safely load and unload products according to established procedures.
- Verify accuracy of documentation (manifests, flights, service orders).
- Maintain constant communication with the operations team and supervisors.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned vehicle.
- Comply with airport security requirements and TSA regulations.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL if applicable).
- Ability to operate catering trucks in an airport environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull weight as required by the position.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Clean driving record.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Airport environment with exposure to noise, weather conditions, and aircraft traffic.
