Position Summary
The Outbound Operations Clerk is responsible for supporting daily customer order processing, order fulfillment, shipment release, tracking upload, and marketplace compliance across assigned sales channels and warehouse locations. This position ensures orders are processed accurately and timely, required labels and tracking information are completed, and warehouse communication is handled promptly to support on-time shipment and account performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process assigned customer orders, including marketplace, email, warehouse, replacement, RMA, and wholesale-related orders as assigned.
- Retrieve, format, review, and import order reports into the ERP system accurately.
- Generate, save, and/or send shipping labels and shipment documents to the appropriate warehouse team.
- Upload tracking information to marketplaces and systems within required deadlines.
- Monitor assigned marketplace cutoff times and notify the lead/supervisor of urgent or at-risk orders.
- Communicate with assigned warehouse teams regarding order status, shipment release, labels, tracking, and pending issues.
- Review order details, inventory availability, warehouse allocation, and shipping requirements before releasing orders.
- Assist with LTL shipment scheduling and related documentation as assigned.
- Maintain accurate notes and records for pending orders, back orders, shipment issues, and warehouse follow-ups.
- Escalate missed, delayed, incorrect, or unclear order/shipment issues timely to the lead or supervisor.
- Complete assigned daily checklist items before the end of shift.
- Support weekend, holiday, or special coverage as business needs require.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic to moderate Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written procedures and daily checklists.
- Ability to multitask and meet cutoff deadlines.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems, ChannelAdvisor, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Wayfair, or similar platforms preferred.
- Bilingual in Chinese is a plus.
Physical Demands / Work Conditions
General office and warehouse conditions. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, handle documents or computer equipment, talk, and hear.
