The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and operational management of Benchmark Integrated Health’s clinical service delivery. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Behavioral Health, this position ensures that clients are assigned to appropriate clinicians, services begin in a timely manner, provider caseloads remain balanced, documentation workflows move efficiently, and clinical operations function smoothly across all service lines.
The Clinical Services Manager serves as the operational bridge between Intake, Provider Operations, Clinical Leadership, Billing, Compliance, and Human Resources to ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining compliance with Ohio Medicaid, OhioRISE, and organizational standards.

Primary Responsibilities
- Clinical Operations
- Coordinate the daily operations of all behavioral health services by:
- Monitoring daily clinical schedules
- Coordinating clinician assignments
- Tracking new referrals awaiting assignment
- Ensuring timely initiation of services
- Monitoring caseload capacity
- Maintaining balanced clinician workloads
- Coordinating reassignment of clients when staffing changes occur
- Identifying operational bottlenecks affecting service delivery
- Scheduling & Caseload Management
Responsible for:
- Assigning therapists to new referrals
- Assigning QMHS staff to clients
- Monitoring therapist availability
- Managing provider caseloads
- Coordinating coverage for staff absences
- Adjusting schedules to maximize productivity
- Maintaining service continuity for clients
- Productivity Management

Ensure:

- Services are delivered within authorization limits
- Reauthorizations are requested timely
- Clients receive services without interruption

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of behavioral health operations experience
- Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid behavioral health services
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Ohio behavioral health management experience
- Experience with OhioRISE
- Knowledge of CPST, TBS, QMHS, outpatient therapy, and community behavioral health services
- Experience with electronic health record systems

Position Purpose:
The Clinical Services Manager ensures that Benchmark Integrated Health’s clinical services operate efficiently, providers remain productive, clients receive timely access to care, and the organization maintains operational excellence while supporting its mission of delivering high-quality behavioral health services throughout Ohio.
Pay: $62,165.52 - $74,866.01 per year
Work Location: In person
