Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress, utilizing tools such as standardized testing and observational data to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with families to support children's development at home and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs.
- Incorporate lesson planning for diverse activities including toddler care, literacy education, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster inclusive classroom practices that promote child welfare, respect for diversity, and developmental milestones in childhood development.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or preschool children in a daycare, private school, or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of curriculum development techniques across various educational frameworks such as Montessori or traditional methods.
- Experience with classroom management strategies that support positive behavior and engagement among young learners.
- Familiarity with special education principles and early intervention strategies tailored for young children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
- Background in teaching physical education, literacy education, or tutoring within early childhood environments is highly desirable.
