The City of South Jordan is hiring a Part-Time Passport Agent/Records Technician to support our new Passport Acceptance Facility and Records Division. What You'll Do:

Assist residents with passport application processing and ensure compliance with U.S. Department of State guidelines.

Deliver excellent customer service and help guide applicants through the passport acceptance process.

Support the Records Division by organizing, scanning, and indexing official city documents.

Respond to records requests and assist with the preparation of public documents under GRAMA guidelines.

Participate in the day-to-day operations of the City Recorder's Office and maintain confidentiality in all duties.

You are a U.S. citizen and can meet the following requirements:

Willing to obtain BCI Certification within 6 months

Eligible to become a Utah Notary Public within 6 months

Must be authorized as a Passport Acceptance Agent upon hire
Preferred: Experience in customer service, clerical or administrative work, or records management.
