We’re hiring a Painter’s Helper / General Laborer to assist our crews on residential job sites. This is an entry-level role with clear opportunity to grow into a skilled painter.
About Us
East Island Painting is a high-end residential painting company based out of Ronkonkoma, NY. We specialize in detailed interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, and new construction work. Our projects are clean, organized, and quality-focused.
Responsibilities
- Assist painters with daily tasks on job sites
- Surface prep (sanding, patching, caulking, masking)
- Protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- General job-site cleaning
- Load/unload tools and materials
- Follow direction from crew lead
Requirements
- Reliable and on time every day (we start at 7AM daily)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Must take pride in maintaining clean, organized job sites
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Prior painting or construction experience
- Familiarity with basic tools
