We are hiring a Breakfast cook for Meraki Coffee+Market from from 7am-3pm. We are also hiring a line cook for Dorothea Fine Greek dinner shift- from 3pm-9m. We recommend you look at our instagam- we are very particular with our plating. You must be able to take pride in your dishes, be self sufficient, punctual, no drama, no call ins. Pay always starts at $15 while training- a raise is given after 2 weeks based on performance. Meraki Breakfast cook will be $18 an hour after fully trained. Must have breakfast experince- no fast food.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably as a line cook or similar role
- Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a dietary department or catering environment
- Familiarity with different dietary restrictions and special diets
- Culinary training or certification
