Maintenance Technician - Position Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and facility systems to help ensure safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will speak fluent English and Spanish, a strong mechanical aptitude, preventative maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment.
Maintenance Technician - Key Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, case erectors, conveyors, and ice machines.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and powered equipment.
- Listen and observe operation of machines and equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems.
- Oversee and maintain cleanliness of building grounds
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals.
- Maintain detailed summary sheets of tasks performed regarding preventative maintenance
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Maintenance Technician - Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual – English/Spanish speaking required
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting required
- Experienced in mechanical and electrical repair, refrigeration repair plus.
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or conveyor systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, verbal and written
- Ability to lift weight up to 100 lbs.
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work for extended periods walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, using hands and fingers to feel, reaching, lifting
Maintenance Technician - Employment Type & Compensation
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour | Paid Weekly
- Application Window: Open until filled
Maintenance Technician - Work Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Start time is 9:00am - production is completed
- Overtime and schedule flexibility will be required
